TMV’s Lokmanya Tilak College of Physiotherapy envisions to be recognized as a Centre of Excellence in physiotherapy education. Mission

To set high standards of physiotherapy education on par with global standards and to facilitate development of competent and skilled physiotherapists.

Objectives

• To provide research guidance and training aimed to inculcate to develop interest and assimilate research in day-to-day practice
• To impart Evidence Based Practice in academics as well as clinical practice.
• To encourage continuous professional development.

Dear Students,
Over the last 100+ years, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth has been catering to the changing needs of society and contributing to the national workforce. We at Lokmanya Tilak College of Physiotherapy aim to forward this grand legacy in continuum with the present era. It is an honour and an even greater responsibility to lead from the front.We believe in creating and disseminating new knowledge in various disciplines of physiotherapy. Discipline, promotion of ethical values, resilience and character building are the mainstays of our work ethos. We can boast of an experienced and ambitious in-house, adjunct and visiting faculty. Our system combines theory & practicum, hands-on experience of working through internship, and an hospital-academia interface provide a platform for all the students to get an experiential learning experience. We envision to promote research through skill development and innovation. Our course is well-designed and highly rewarding enhancing student employability.The students can look forward to a student driven academic environment which is rooted in culture and tradition but with a vibe and aesthetics of this millennium.
